One limit worth knowing up front: this is an information site, not a building company. Nobody here can price your job, and a price offered without seeing the site is worth nothing — access, ground conditions and how much has to come out first are what move the figure. Two written quotes from Auckland trades will tell you more than we can.

• A cost figure or a consent rule on the site that has moved
• An Auckland-specific problem nobody has written up properly
• Any factual error, including small ones — those get corrected

Where we are the wrong door

• Quotes, bookings or arranging any building work
• A dispute with a builder or tradesperson — for that, the Citizens Advice Bureau, the Disputes Tribunal or the relevant trade body is the right place to start
